Oil is one of the most widely used commodities on the planet. Also one of the most common toxins in the environment. Recycling and reusing left over motor and vehicular oils is more environmentally friendly than throwing it away. They contaminate the environment if not recycled or disposed off appropriately.
Waste oil can be refined into lubricants, converted into fuel oils and used as a raw material in the refining and petrol chemical industries.
According to extensive laboratory research and field surveys, refined oil passes all necessary measures and in some cases, even surpasses pure crude oil.
Because re-refining simply re-processes used oil into fresh, high quality lubricating oil, the same customers and businesses who use ordinary oil can also utilise it. Re-refined oil can be used by car maintenance facilities, automobile owners and other machinery maintenance operations that employ oil.
Also waste oils create an avenue for job opportunities. Companies that recycle waste oil for example will hire labourers for a variety of jobs. High-level scientists will be required to examine the oil products to ensure that they can develop valuable and simple to use products.
It also provides alternative domestic uses. Recycled oil can be used to lubricate other parts of your house, your garage doors and help grease rusty locks.
It also contributes to technological research. It can for example be utilised as a source of energy or vehicle fuel. Research and development of new engines or equipment that can utilise recycled oil must be used effectively and efficiently.
As a result this study contributes to the advancement of technology that allows the reuse of waste oil while also benefitting the environment. Additional ways will also be identified to use waste oil as more companies that handle waste oils are established.
