TAKING TECHNOLOGICAL STEPS IN REGULATING SPENT OIL DISPOSAL AT FITTING SHOPS

Over the years, the discharge of spent vehicular oil had taken a reckless course by most garages, before the introduction of its reusable abilities by recycling companies.
Gutters, streets and the bare environment suffered stains of lubricants, particularly, spent vehicular oil, which is made visible often at rainy seasons, as a result of runoff waters, culminating erosion.
Although attributed to negligence on the part of most "fitters" who are often school drop-outs or were brought into apprenticeship as a result of high illiteracy, a heavier weight is placed on the inactive regulations of authorities in charge of the environment.
Where fitters take up to any available space without queries from authorities, the consequential effect is the fast depletion of natural resources by oil spills.
It is in this light, that the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, takes a futuristic plan in designing a technological modeled design for proper vehicular oil discharge. In this plan, autogarages shall be connected to an interceptile system. A designed system to manage the run-offs from their forecourt. Fluids of any kind shall be chanelled into the interceptile system, meant to trap all greasy substances.
Whereas other fluid types shall exit through a drainage underneath the tank, vehicular oils shall be left settled in the tank and collected later for recycling purposes.
The model shall take to a locally engineered structure, adopting simple scientific techniques to enable aumotive engineers operate with ease.
A serene environment is expected to be enjoyed by all in the coming years, exposing successive generations to a less hazardous atmosphere.
